Halle Berry stuns at ‘Cloud Atlas’ premiere in sheer top (TIFF 2012)

Halle Berry left our heads in the clouds at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival this weekend.

The "Cloud Atlas" star stunned with her ageless appearance on the film's red carpet Saturday. Looking a decade younger than her 46 years, she dazzled in a curve-hugging, pointy-shouldered, purple-patterned Robert Cavalli suit.

But the real eye-catching element of Berry's ensemble was the sheer black Monique Lhuillier blouse she wore underneath, opened down to her cleavage, showing the band of the black lacy bra that was clearly visible beneath as the actress signed autographs and posed for photos.

Considering the time-travelling premise of her new film, it makes sense that Berry looks so ageless. In "Cloud Atlas," directed by Tom Tykwer and the Wachowski brothers, the Oscar-winning actress plays multiple characters across several eras: a reporter in the '70s, a white woman in the Victorian era, and an explorer in the future. The film ultimately connects six stories to explore the subject of spiritual connection.

"I love being here, I think it's an amazing festival," Berry told the Canadian Press on the red carpet. "It's so well-respected to have our movie here, we're all so happy that TIFF said yes."

TIFF said more than "yes." "Cloud Atlas" reportedly got a 10-minute standing ovation from audiences after its premiere at the Princess of Whales Theatre, despite its less-enthusiastic-response from critics who called it "over-reaching," "messy" and "weighed down."

Stars Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant and Susan Sarandon were also on the red carpet alongside Berry. And fresh off his "Looper" premiere, a dressed down Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is not in the cast, also appeared, presumably just to see one of the most buzzed about films at the fest. Stars are movie fans, too!
