X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer To Debut With Star Wars: The Force Awakens

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ just got even more enticing, because it’s been confirmed that the teaser trailer for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will debut before the blockbuster.

Simon Kinberg, who is ‘X-Men Apocalypse’s’ producer and writer, made this revelation to Collider, while 20th Century Fox later confirmed this would be the case with a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Our first trailer will be on ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’,” Kinberg declared to the website. Kinberg then added further information regarding what we can expect to see in the trailer, even teasing its run time.

“It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser,” Kinberg remarked. “But it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”

Footage from ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ previously premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer, but it’s still not clear whether the same scenes will be included in the teaser.

The first teaser for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ isn’t the only trailer that’s expected to air before ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’. That’s because it’s also been rumoured that the debut teaser for ‘Captain America: Civil War’ will be attached to it too.

That’s still not confirmed though. We’ll finally find out when ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ hits cinemas on December 18, 2015.
