The X Factor is delivering a Wildcard twist to this year's series, host Dermot O'Leary confirmed on Saturday night (October 21).

Dermot revealed that we'll learn the "details of this year's Wildcard vote" at the end of Sunday night's Judges Houses' episode.

It's probable that four Wildcard acts will be chosen – one in each category – to go through to the Live Shows, with the public voting for their favourite.

We'll no doubt find out on Sunday which rejected acts will be eligible.

The Top 12 finalists who've got through Judges' Houses will of course be known once Simon Cowell's Groups and Louis Walsh's Boys are whittled down.

On Saturday, Sharon Osbourne put through Girls Rai-Elle Williams, Holly Tandy and an emotional Grace Davies, and said goodbye to Georgina Panton, Alisah Bonaobra, Deanna Mussington.

In the Overs category, Nicole Scherzinger decided to keep Matt Linnen, Kevin Davy White and Tracy Leanne Jefford, and sent home Slavko, Berget Lewis and Talia Dean.

Competing in Simon's Groups on Sunday will be: The Cutkelvins, Rak-Su, Sean and Conor Price, Jack & Joel, Lemonade and the New Girl Band.

And in Louis's Boys: Lloyd Macey, Leon Mallett, Spencer Sutherland, Aidan Martin, Jack Mason and Sam Black, who replaces Anthony Russell.

The X Factor Judges' Houses continues Sunday night at 7pm on ITV.
