Women's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16: Streaming, matchups, TV info and odds for regional semifinals

Sixteen teams remain in the women's NCAA Tournament. No. 1 seeds South Carolina and Virginia Tech headline the remaining field. However, there are some unlikely contenders emerging in the distance.

No. 8 Ole Miss and No. 9 Miami are making surprise tournament runs. Ole Miss defeated No. 1 Stanford on its home floor. Meanwhile, Miami overcame a 17-point deficit to beat No. 8 Oklahoma State and shocked No. 1 Indiana inside the iconic Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

The Sweet 16 begins Friday. No. 2 Utah will play No. 3 LSU in the key matchup of the afternoon. Ole Miss and Miami will also be in action alongside No. 2 Iowa and college basketball sensation Caitlin Clark.

South Carolina will take center stage Saturday. The Gamecocks will play No. 4 UCLA in the Greenville 1 Region. Other teams in action include Virginia Tech, No. 2 UConn and No. 2 Maryland.

When do the women's Sweet 16 NCAA Tournament games start?

The Sweet 16 for the NCAA women's basketball tournament begins Friday as No. 4 Villanova plays No. 9 Miami at 2:30 p.m. ET. Three games will follow with the final matchup (No. 5 Louisville vs. No. 8 Ole Miss) starting at 10 p.m. ET.

The tournament will resume Saturday. No. 2 Maryland will face No. 3 Notre Dame at 11:30 a.m. ET. Three games will follow with the final matchup (No. 1 Virginia Tech vs. No. 4 Tennessee) starting at 6:30 p.m. ET.
