Woman and Her Granddad Celebrate Aaron Judge's 61st Home Run

Power returned to a Florida home during Hurricane Ian just in time for a woman and her granddad to see New York Yankees star Aaron Judge hitting his record-tying 61st home run of the season on September 28.

Video shows Danielle Cipolla and her grandfather celebrating after watching Judge tie Roger Maris’s 1961 record against the Toronto Blue Jays. She captioned the footage, “Grandpa is all of our spirit animals.”

“We were so happy and my grandpa was thrilled we got the chance to see it with our power outages,” Cipolla said. Credit: Danielle Cipolla via Storyful
