(Dabiq)A woman accused of sending Isis propaganda to an undercover investigator has been charged with terror offences.
Aaminah Amatullah, a Muslim convert who was formerly known as Alison Claire Beech, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old, from Birmingham, denied two counts of disseminating terrorist publications.
The court heard that she shared the videos with an undercover officer, who she believed to be an online extremist contact, on the Telegram encrypted messaging service in September 2019.
The first was a video released by an official Isis propaganda outlet that contained images of severed heads, graphic battle footage and calls for followers to commit terror attacks.
The second video featured footage of airstrikes and fighting in Isis’ last Syrian stronghold of Baghouz, with militants waving the terrorist group’s flag.
Ms Amatullah was arrested at her studio apartment in Livingstone Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, on 24 November as part of an investigation by the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit.
District Judge Nina Tempia remanded her in custody ahead of an appearance at the Old Bailey on 18 December.
