Winter Storm Covers Northern Utah Roads in Snow

A winter storm continued to bring heavy snow to northern Utah on Tuesday, November 29, with the National Weather Service warning of hazardous driving conditions during the morning commute.

This video showing vehicles driving along a snow-covered road was released by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) in Cottonwood Canyons, which said it was filmed along State Route 190.

The National Weather Service said the winter storm started pushing into the region on Monday and brought heavy snow that day.

The service warned that a lake-effect snow band was expected to develop early Tuesday morning and continue through around 11 am.

Periods of moderate to heavy snow would bring additional accumulations, the service said. Credit: UDOT Cottonwood Canyons via Storyful
