How winning an Oscar boosted Matthew McConaughey’s confidence

Matthew McConaughey, who's starring in the upcoming film, "White Boy Rick," spoke to Yahoo Entertainment at this year's CinemaCon about the changes that take place post-Oscar. The actor nabbed a Best Actor win for 2013's "Dallas Buyers Club" and said, "I was confident before but [winning] helped with confidence." He said that winning the Oscar also gave him a better pick of projects, saying, "I get more of a look at more quality things that are more the ilk of what I want to do."
