Will Smith Hilariously Shot Down Margot Robbie’s Request To Tattoo Him On Suicide Squad Set

After receiving a tattoo gun on the set of ‘Suicide Squad’, Margot Robbie instantly set out to ink her fellow cast and crew.

Cara Delevingne, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, writer and director David Ayer, Robbie herself, one poor crew member whose ‘SKWAD’ tattoo was misspelt by Robbie, and various others involved with the film now have a permanent reminder of the blockbuster on their bodies.

One man who immediately shot down the chance to get a ‘Suicide Squad’ tattoo from Margot Robbie was Will Smith, though. After being asked by Entertainment Tonight whether he got a tattoo from Robbie, Smith said with a laugh, “I’m a grown-a** man.”

Smith then recalled how excited Robbie was to give everyone involved with ‘Suicide Squad’ tattoos, a euphoria that Smith himself instantly deflated.

“Margot comes bounding into work with all of her 24-year-old glory like, ‘Guys! Guys! I got a tattoo gun! I got a tattoo gun! We’re all getting tattoos! I was like, ‘No, we’re not.’”

That didn’t stop Will Smith dolling out the treatment to Joel Kinnaman, though, as the Swedish actor took to Instagram to upload a picture of himself and the Fresh Prince shortly after he’d finished his handy work on his arm.

Kinnaman wasn’t that impressed, though, as he described the experience as “like watching a drunk baby fly a helicopter.”

It’s probably a pretty good job that Will Smith didn’t allow Margot Robbie to give him a tattoo. Because while speaking to ET, the Australian actress admitted that they resemble “what a 4-year-old would draw and stick on your fridge … Like little stick figures.”

You can see if Will Smith and Margot Robbie’s performances in ‘Suicide Squad’ are any better than their work as tattooists from this coming Friday, when it’s finally released into cinemas.
