The 2020 series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is finishing earlier than in previous years, with the competition drawing to a close on Friday 4 December.

That means this year’s series will only be two weeks and five days, compared to the usual three weeks.

Live episodes are broadcast every day of the week excluding Saturday, which is when fans can watch a replay of highlights from the previous week.

It is unknown why this season is shorter than others, but there have been many changes on I’m a Celebrity this year due to coronavirus restrictions – including the show’s move to Wales.

Bets are being placed on who will emerge as this year’s winner. Although EastEnders star Shane Richie had previously leapt ahead as the favourite, BBC Radio DJ Jordan North is now odds-on to take home the crown.

The series opened to its highest viewing figures in seven years. The achievement is surprising given that this year’s showrunners were forced to shake up the show’s traditional format due to the ongoing pandemic.

Richie, North, Victoria Derbyshire, AJ Pritchard and Mo Farah are among the stars participating in the series, which is currently being filmed in an “haunted” castle in Wales.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
