Why Dillon Brooks said Scotiabank Arena was 'his house'

Dillon Brooks addresses the cameras catching him saying Scotiabank Arena was "his house," how excited he was to play in Toronto and whether or not he wants to play for the Canadian national team.

DILLON BROOKS: Yeah. This game was circled for sure. It's been four years, actually. My second year, I broke my toe, so I couldn't play. But it's been circled. I love playing here. It's been a dream. I still have catalogs from when Vince Carter, and Antonio Davis, and Alvin Williams was playing here. I love the culture. I love what's happening with the Raptors. And yeah, it's been circled for a while.

Yeah, it was amazing to win here. I know I haven't won here in a long time. And it was just-- what's his name on that bench-- Jamaal Magloire kept telling me, this is our house. This is our house. And then, I like when people start talking to me, it only ups my game. So I'll just not talk to me, just let me play my game. No, I haven't really talked to him about that. But I'm always a willing participant.

Just to clear the air about last year, made the playoffs, wanted to increase my game and get better. So I wanted to stay at home, get better, work on my stuff. And I'm breaking my hand. So I'll definitely be in the qualifier for sure next year and trying to build that legacy for Team Canada.
