100th Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Sunday, June 26th - 9:00 a.m. ET - Mobil 1's YouTube Channel

Last month, the biggest Pikes Peak-related headline was the announcement that Ken Block would run the mid-engined "Hoonipigasus" Porsche up the hill in pursuit of an overall win in this year's 100th running. On Thursday, that dream came to a grinding halt when a valve problem created unrepairable engine damage. While that may take the most unique car in the event out of contention, the climb goes on. Leaders in the Open Wheel and Unlimited classes, winners in each event since Volkswagen's stunning I.D. R last ran here back in 2018, should be the lead contenders on Sunday.

The hundredth Race To The Clouds is streaming on Mobil 1's YouTube channel. Yes, the oil company. Colorado radio station KRDO will also have live audio.

NASCAR - Nashville
Sunday, June 19th - 5:00 p.m. ET - NBC

After its only weekend off of the entire year, the NASCAR season resumes with the second-ever Cup Series race at the Nashville Superspeedway. It is an entirely deceptive name, as Nashville is in fact a 1.3-mile concrete intermediate in Lebanon, Tennessee. It is also a fairly perfect track for the Next Gen car, making for a promising race on Sunday.

Trackhouse Racing, which has strong sponsor ties to Nashville and had at one point planned to move its entire operations to the city for mostly promotional purposes, has Ross Chastain second in the series championship and has just come off Daniel Suarez's first career Cup Series win. They carry significant momentum into a track that should suit both of their drivers, both already locked into the playoffs, and have a huge opportunity to collect more playoff points here.

IMSA - Six Hours of the Glen
Sunday, June 26th - 10:40 a.m. ET - Peacock

The shortest and smallest of IMSA's four traditional endurance races is here, just two weekends after the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In the time since IMSA last raced, we've seen our first look at the cars all of Cadillac, BMW, Acura, and Porsche will race in the category next year. Until then, we continue on with just Cadillac and Acura.

At the moment, Acura remains in control of a championship picture where the No. 60 Meyer Shank Racing team leads the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing program. The two factory-backed Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillacs run third and fourth, but the team's leading car of Sebastien Bourdais and Renger van der Zande remains in a fairly significant championship hole in what has been a long all-or-nothing season. Past the halfway point of the season, Bourdais and van der Zande need to find ways to score steady podiums keep winning almost as badly as they need to keep winning.
