Our bedrooms have had to become pretty versatile spaces over the past year. Not only are they where we sleep but they've also had to become where we work, where we conduct our virtual social lives, where we exercise and often where we eat. So you'd be forgiven if you're feeling a little tired of being in those same four walls by now. That's where sunset lamps come in. They're the latest interiors trend going viral on TikTok and they're perfect for turning your room from a functional space into a much more tranquil one.
And if that wasn't enough they're also perfect for getting that idyllic golden hour glow that makes people look so good in pictures and videos. I mean, this is basically a hack for the sun.
They're technically called 'Sunset Projection Lamps' and the idea is that they emit a circle shape of warm light in a variety of colours, from royal blue to deep pink. Of course you can go for whatever colour you want but the one most people are loving is the warm sunset red, which looks like the sun setting right there on your bedroom wall.
Obviously TikTok has gone absolutely wild for these lamps, and we can see why, this just looks so chilled. Excuse us while we just go to bask in the warm glow of our new and probably best ever purchase.
