Instead, pre-order a takeout meal from a Charlotte-area restaurant. You’ll be making your Christmas a little easier and helping out a local business at the same time. That’s a win-win.
Options include turkeys, beef tenderloin, brisket and more. And unless you want to make an exception for a famous mac and cheese recipe, you can order that — and all the other sides you’re craving, too.

Dessert options are available as well, including Stollen loaf (known in Germany as Christstollen), a fruit bread of nuts, spices and dried or candied fruit, coated with powdered sugar.

Packages for a family of four to six, eight to 10 or 12-14 are available at Mac’s Speed Shop this Christmas. The smallest come with a turkey, gravy and two sides, while the package for eight to 10 comes with a turkey and gravy, brisket and three sides. The largest package comes with a 7-pound brisket, four sides and a bottle of Mac’s sauce.
Pro tip: You will get $10 off your next visit if you pre-order before Tuesday, Dec. 20.
