West Ham XI vs Man City: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League game today

West Ham return to a mostly first-choice starting XI for today’s tough Premier League test against Manchester City.

Only Angelo Ogbonna (knee) is absent at the Etihad Stadium with the squad coming through the Europa League win at Rapid Vienna unscathed.

David Moyes has decided to go with a back five against Man City, with Aaron Cresswell alongside Kurt Zouma and Craig Dawson, and Arthur Masuaku coming into the side.

Much of Moyes’ favoured lineup were rested for the Austria trip, including Michail Antonio and Lukasz Fabianski, who were allowed to remain in England. Both come straight back into the side at the Etihad.

Jarrod Bowen does not start for the first time in the Premier League this season.

“We seem okay having come back from Vienna last night,” said Moyes on Friday. “Obviously we’ll assess things, train and see how the players come through it. At the moment we think everyone is okay.

“We did manage to rest a few and I hope it helps, but we always wanted to use the whole squad and we have done throughout the tournament so far.

“It’s worked really well and the players who have played have done a great job – the results we’ve had and the performances have been excellent."

West Ham XI: Fabianski; Johnson, Dawson, Zouma, Cresswell, Masuaku; Rice, Soucek; Benrahma, Fornals, Antonio

Subs: Areola, Coufal, Diop, Kral, Noble, Vlasic, Lanzini, Yarmolenko, Bowen
