I like to think that I’m a pretty savvy packer. After years of dragging overloaded suitcases through airports and struggling with heavy bags, I now plan out my outfits in advance and bring along a pared-down makeup bag.

So when I had to start putting out essentials to bring with me on a week-long trip to Switzerland, the first thing I tossed into the pile was ILIA’s Limited Edition Multi-Stick Palette.

While my favorite shade of the bunch is Tenderly (the soft pink in the middle row), this recyclable palette includes three new and three best-selling shades of ILIA’s cult-favorite Multi-Stick that are perfect for mixing and layering on lips and cheeks.

The creamy formula of this palette is also worth noting — it’s jam-packed with clean ingredients like shea butter, avocado oil and orange peel wax. The formula is cruelty-free and fragrance-free, too, so you can feel good about putting it all over your face.

I prefer to use my fingers with this palette, but you can also use a brush or beauty sponge to apply your desired cocktail of shades. And don’t worry about messing up your makeup look — these colors start off subtle and can be built up for more color payoff. They’re basically foolproof.

While $42 may seem steep for just 0.04 oz of product, the fact that I could bring high-quality blush, bronzer and highlighter with me in one convenient package that left me looking dewy and sunkissed made the price more than worth it.
