The Weeknd cancels Kansas City show, plans summer stadium tour. And Nelly postpones
The Weeknd’s Feb. 19 concert at the T-Mobile Center is off.
The Canadian superstar singer announced this week that he has canceled his The Afterhours 2022 Tour, saying on social media, “Due to constraints of arenas and the demand for more shows I want to do something bigger and special for you which requires stadiums.” He said a stadium tour will begin in the summer.
The T-Mobile Center website says ticket refunds are available at their point of purchase.
Also, Nelly’s concert with Blanco Brown slated for Oct. 22 at Azura Amphitheater has been canceled because of COVID-19 concerns. Nelly has scheduled a solo date Jan. 25 at the Uptown Theater.
