Weatherman JJ Abraham Plagued By Star Wars Fans On Twitter

It’s going to be a long weekend for meteorologist Justin Abraham, whose Twitter handle bears a similarity to that of the man responsible for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.

Abraham, whose handle is @JJAbraham, has been inundated with messages on the social media platform from well-wishers believing him to be director JJ Abrams.

On Twitter Abraham said: “People… I am NOT JJ Abrams. I’m a weatherman,” alongside a picture of all the tweets being sent his way. One user told him: “You are a genius, I can never thank you enough for 'Star Wars 7’. You are a God of directing, well done.”

“Thank you @jjabraham for making a masterpiece in #TheForceAwakens,” said another user. “It brought back memories of why I feel in love with #StarWars.”

In the picture Abraham tweeted another tweet says: “Take a bow because you are the man! Loved it and never wanted it to end #StarWars #StarWarsForceAwakens.”

Abraham is a meteorologist and producer at The Weather Channel, and lives in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States.

Ever the professional, Abraham continued to do his job despite the constant notifications. Telling followers in the southeastern United States to expect “Scattered showers/storms ahead of the cold front in the Southeast, much cooler & drier air moving in behind it.”

With 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ releasing worldwide this week, we suspect Abraham’s phone will be buzzing all the weekend.
