Water Pours Into Lisbon Mall as Ceiling Damaged During Deluge

Water was seen pouring into a shopping center in Lisbon, Portugal, after a ceiling was damaged on Wednesday, December 7, during heavy rainfall that caused flooding in the city, local media reported.

Video filmed by Jose Luis Pereira da Silva shows water pouring from the ceiling of El Corte Ingles.

Local media said cinemas at the mall were evacuated.

At least one person died due to the flooding in the Lisbon metropolitan area, the Civil Protection told media at a press conference.
