What to Watch Sunday: ‘Diana’ doc continues on CNN, ‘Succession’ returns to HBO

The Fight That Never Ends (8 p.m., Lifetime) - In this new movie, a man and a woman fight hatred and oppression as they work together to run a community helpline in South Central Los Angeles.

Succession (9 p.m., HBO) - Season 3 starts in the aftermath of the bombshell press conference, as a righteous Kendall scrambles to find a base of operations while Logan’s team searches for safe harbor.

Diana (9 p.m., CNN) - This new six-part documentary series re-examining the life of Diana Spencer continues tonight. The series tells Diana’s story through the lens of modernity: reframing her story to discover the real woman behind the “People’s Princess.” It draws on a new generation of voices, including interviews from those close to her, for a fresh take that reveals a princess unlike any other. In tonight’s episode, Great Britain is captivated by the royal wedding, and the birth of Diana and Charles’ son William secures the line of succession to the British throne. Also, Diana begins to face struggles as a new member of the royal family. NOTE: CNN Audio is also exploring the life of Princess Diana in a new podcast titled “When Diana Met…” hosted by Aminatou Sow. The podcast takes listeners inside Diana’s most notable meetings with public figures, politicians, dignitaries and celebrities to reveal often-overlooked truths and misunderstandings about her life as Princess of Wales.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made (9 p.m., Hallmark Movies & Mysteries) - As Shane and Oliver prepare to wed, the team helps an unwell boy reunite with a lost friend. A new employee may deliver the answer for Rita and Norman to start a family.

Homestead Rescue (9 p.m., Discovery) - In the rugged Tennessee mountains, the Raneys scramble to save a family without suitable food, water and shelter in the Season 9 premiere. Marty constructs a massive yurt, Misty transforms a rundown pond into a food source, and Matt creates a workshop with a propane forge.

Season 3 of “Succession” premieres Oct. 17 on HBO.
