Shakira took the stage at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards in Seville, Spain, tonight to sing her ballad “Acróstico.” Surrounded by mirrors, she slowly walked towards a grand piano before playing pre-recorded footage of her two children, Milan and Sasha, singing the lyrics to the song. Later in the evening, Shakira returned to the stage for “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” during Bizarrap’s own performance. Watch footage here.
Shakira picked up three trophies at the 2023 Latin Grammys: Best Urban/Fusion Performance for her feature on Karol G’s “TQG,” plus Song of the Year and Best Pop Song for Bizarrap’s viral “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.”
Now in its 24th year, the ceremony aired live on Univision from the Conference and Exhibition Centre in Sevilla, Spain—the first time the awards have been held outside of the United States.
