Yahoo Movies Watch Glen Powell get naked in new trailer for Sydney Sweeney rom-com
Anyone But You will bring classic rom-com vibes to the cinema this Christmas, and we now have a full trailer for the new movie.
Following a steamy teaser last month, the new trailer – which you can watch above – reveals more about the rom-com which will see Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell fake being a couple at a destination wedding in Australia.
Bea (Sweeney) wants to avoid being paired up with her ex by her family, while Ben (Powell) just wants to make his ex jealous. Cue rom-com shenanigans, including a failed Titanic attempt and a spider incident that sees Ben strip naked.
Will it be a hit though? We'll have to wait and see when Anyone But You hits US cinemas on December 22 and UK cinemas on December 26.
Anyone But You also stars Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd and Rachel Griffiths. It was directed by Easy A's Will Gluck, based on a story by Ilana Wolpert.
Earlier this week, both Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney responded to the rumours of an "alleged affair" (in Powell's words) between the two during filming of the movie.
"When all that stuff happened, you know, publicly, it felt disorienting and unfair. But what I’m realizing is that's just a part of this gig now," Powell noted.
Sweeney added that they "don't really care" about the speculation. "We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he's such a hard worker, and I'm a hard worker," she explained.
"We're excited for the press tour, and I literally just left ADR with him. We talk all the time like, 'That's really funny'."
The Anyone But You trailer is the second in as many days for one of Sweeney's upcoming movies. The first trailer for Madame Web, in which she stars as Julia Carpenter (aka Spider-Woman), was released yesterday (November 15).
Anyone But You is released in US cinemas on December 22 and in UK cinemas on December 26.
