We're swinging back into the Spider-Verse next year with the release of Madame Web and we now have the first trailer to savour.

The Spider-Man spin-off stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, aka Madame Web, and Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter, aka Spider-Woman. But as the first trailer shows, they won't be the only Spideys in town.

Madame Web's psychic abilities allow her to see into the future and helps her to save three other Spideys, which will likely lead to a team-up movie as teased in this trailer as they take on villain Ezekiel Sims.

Check out the Madame Web trailer above and get excited for its release on February 14, 2024.

Madame Web also stars Emma Roberts, Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Adam Scott, Zosia Mamet and Mike Epps. It was directed by SJ Clarkson from a script by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama.

Earlier this year, Sweeney praised her co-stars and said she couldn't be "more excited" to be able to talk about the movie with them.

"We had so much fun together. I'm really excited that it's just gonna be a powerhouse of badass females for the world to see," she enthused, adding that superheroes have been her "entire life"

"Those [movies] are all my parents ever wanted to go see. I think I've seen The Avengers probably 20, 30-plus times. My family, they love [them]... I could not have made them happier choosing to do [Madame Web]," she added.

We'll have to wait and see whether Madame Web will cross over with the MCU or if we're going to get a surprise visit from Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

It takes place in the same universe as the two Venom movies and Morbius, both of which have had MCU crossovers, but there's no guarantee that Madame Web will. It could be a totally separate origin story.

Madame Web is released in cinemas on February 14, 2024.
