It's December, remarkably dark at all times, and the temperature is in the single digits, so we have duly and dutifully thrown ourselves into all the Christmas festivities on offer.

This means drinking mulled wine at every pub we go to, listening to carols on our commute to work, and, of course, watching Christmas films at every given opportunity. There have been some great new releases, but it's the golden oldies we always loyally return to.
