Being quarantined days during the coronavirus pandemic has to be one of the most dreaded things we social animals have faced this decade. But with thoughtful fathers, even those days can be turned into an adventure.

A recent TikTok video going viral on the internet has shown how a caring father sneaked in drinks and other snacks to his daughter who was under quarantine. The video made by Emma Hausler on TikTok was shared on Twitter by Yashar Ali on Sunday. The tweet has garnered over 393.1K views and 1.2k retweets since then and has been liked by over 17.3k users.

The video shows how the lady’s father used to come up to her window and leave the drinks on a chair outside before running back. At times, Emma’s father also showed up outside her window with their pet dog and ran as soon as they delivered the drink. The running away was probably a part of his social distancing norm.

Netizens are awestruck with this act of fatherly love. One user commented if the man in the TikTok video would please come and be their dad. While some users praised the man’s running away act as if he is hiding from someone. Another commented that they just want a dad who makes fancy drinks like Emma’s dad does. For some, the drink served with garlic bread in the video was the highlight and they were encouraged to try the combination.

The wholesome video also acted as a ray of hope for many who were fed-up with watching and reading terrible news. As one user commented, in the middle of horrible news and all the fighting happening on Twitter, this video made their day. She further praised Emma’s dad and called him awesome.

Emma Hausler also commented on the viral tweet and clarified that the video was from 2020 and she did not have coronavirus at the time. However, she had to quarantine for two weeks because she had just come back to Los Angeles after being in New York for a month. So for the safety of the family she stayed in a different room in the same house for two weeks.
