In the new comedy The Boss, Michelle Darnell (Melissa McCarthy) is a titan of industry, who wows conventions full of wannabe entrepreneurs with her motivational mojo. Even after the richest woman in America bottoms out and does hard time for insider trader, Michelle rebounds by teaming with her ex-assistant (Kristen Bell) to build a homemade-brownie empire.

We were so inspired by Darnell’s savvy and resiliency that we brought some homemade business ideas to McCarthy, Bell, and Boss writer-director Ben Falcone (who also directed his wife McCarthy in 2014’s Tammy). You can watch how they reacted in the video above, but we’re not going to sell ourselves short. When it comes to alcoholic milk, a robot designed specifically to rock your baby all night, a Clapper for the toilet (“The Crapper”), it looks like we have our first three investors, and their names rhyme with Fen Balcone, Bristen Kell, and… Melissa McCarthy.
