In Disney-Pixar’s Inside Out, Bill Hader plays Fear, one of the quintet of emotions inside the head of the young protagonist, Riley. As the Saturday Night Live alum shares in the exclusive preview clip above, being scared helps keep us safe from spooky caves and… bears! Always assessing the “worst case scenario,” Fear is in Riley’s brain to ensure her safety at all times — and also to help her enjoy the occasional scary movie.

Inside Out starts getting into everyone’s head when it is released on 24 July.
