WandaVision star Paul Bettany has revealed he is keen to continue playing Vision indefinitely in future Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

The actor played the character in films including Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War before enjoying a starring role in the recent Disney Plus spin-off.

While his character was killed during the events of Avengers: Infinity War, the final episode of WandaVision saw Vision’s corporeal body resurrected (as White Vision) and eventually imbued with all his old memories.

Before the end of the episode, White Vision is seen flying away without explanation, leaving fans speculating that the character could return in future MCU instalments.

Speaking to Esquire, Bettany was asked whether he would be willing to reprise the character again. “I love Vision. Yes, I’m in,” he responded.

In the interview, Bettany also said he relished the chance to explore a character which had existed in the MCU mainly as a side character until WandaVision.

“I mean, that’s the thing, right?” he said. “I’ve never had a loved one to lose… I don’t know what grief is because I’ve never had a loved one to lose.

“There is so much to get into with him because it’s been 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there, in the movies,” he added. “Now we’re sort of just starting to sort of peel back some stuff.”
