In an effort to make the vaccination process easier for Chatham-Kent residents, public health is now accepting walk-ins for first and second doses at the Bradley Centre Clinic in Chatham.
Until now, residents had to book their second doses in advance at the Bradley Convention Centre Mass Vaccination Clinic.
According to public health officials, the walk-ins will run on a “while supplies last” basis, so those looking to ensure a specific date and time for their vaccine are encouraged to still book an appointment at www.GetYourShotCK.ca or by calling 519-351-1010 and leaving a message.
“COVID-19 vaccines are the most effective way to protect ourselves and our community from the virus. If you have received your first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, it is important for you to return to get your second dose at least 28 days later. Both doses are required to get the best protection against COVID-19, including serious illness and hospitalization,” reads a press release from public health.
Upcoming public health clinics accepting walk-ins for first and second doses:
- Wednesday, July 28th – noon to 6:30 p.m. (Pfizer-BioNTech_
- Thursday, July 29th – noon to 6:30 p.m. (Pfizer-BioNTech)
- Friday, July 30th – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.(Pfizer-BioNTech)
