You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

BOYS WRESTLING

Ryan Hirchert, Caldwell: Rode two, first-round pins and two tech falls to the 98-pound title at the Weiser Invite.

Trell McFarlane, Homedale: Won the 106-pound title at the Weiser Invite with three, first-round pins and two major decisions.

Marcus Aleman, Fruitland: Used three pins and an 8-4 decision in the finals to capture the 113-pound crown at the Weiser Invite.

Caleb Shaw, New Plymouth: Improved to 25-1 by winning the 126-pound division at the Weiser Invite with a 3-2 decision over Fruitland’s Nathaniel Martinez in the finals.

Kaleb Grove, Weiser: Captured the 195-pound title at the Weiser Invite with a 4-2 decision in the finals over top-seeded Gavin Williamson of Jerome.

Gabriel Ramos, Payette: Won the 220-pound title at the Weiser Invite with a 3-1 decision in overtime after a pair of pins to reach the finals.

Aden Attao, Borah: Racked up three straight pins before a 10-4 decision in the finals to win the heavyweight title at the Weiser Invite.

Russell Noah, Tri-Valley: Used three straight pins to capture the 138-pound title at the Pine Eagle Invite.

Grant Svedin, Melba: Won the 145-pound title at the Pine Eagle Invite and improved to 42-2 with two pins and two decisions.

Takota McMillian, Skyview: Pinned all three opponents he faced for the 220-pound title at the Pine Eagle Invite.
