Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Jacob Martinez, Vallivue: Averaged 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Falcons to wins over Centennial (60-56) and Capital (53-38).

Bayler Perrin, Mountain View: Led the Mavericks to a 57-39 win over defending state champ Meridian with 20 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Jason Koval, Riverstone: Erupted for 34 points to lead the Otters to a 64-33 win at Gem State.

Hudson Hughes, Ambrose: Drained six 3-pointers and scored 25 points to lead the Archers to an 88-44 win against Lighthouse Christian.

Aidan McGarvin, Bishop Kelly: Scored 16 points in a 57-54 win at Meridian, then added 17 points and six rebounds in a 59-55 victory at Jerome.

Landon White, Eagle: Averaged 16.5 points and seven rebounds as the Mustangs opened with wins over Capital (67-36) and Middleton (67-59).

Sean Murphy, Skyview: Recorded a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Hawks to a 56-37 win over crosstown rival Nampa.

Joe Reiber, Melba: Averaged 23.7 points, six rebounds and four steals as the Mustangs topped Weiser, Firth and South Fremont.

Dallin Criddle, Liberty Charter: Averaged 23 points and eight rebounds to lead the Patriots to wins over Glenns Ferry and Council.

Noah Palomares, Victory Charter: Scored 24 points against Dietrich in the championship of the Dietrich Winter Tournament and averaged 18.7 points as the Vipers started 3-0.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Josie Davis, Owyhee: Averaged 14.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 5.5 steals as the Storm knocked off Capital and defending state champ Mountain View.

Alondra Osuna, Vallivue: Recorded a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, while adding four assists, in a 44-30 loss to Emmett.

Kaelle Steele, Victory Charter: Poured in 24 points and added three rebounds, two steals and a block in the Vipers’ 58-5 victory vs. Gem State.

Kimberly Arias, Wilder: Averaged 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.3 steals, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks to lead the Wildcats to a 2-2 week. She scored 27 points in a win at Four Rivers, Oregon.

Audrey Taylor, Timberline: Scored 25 points to lead the Wolves to a 48-37 win at Boise in a battle of two of the league’s top teams.

Kendall Clark, Melba: Recorded a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds in the Mustangs’ 53-26 victory at Firth.

Grace Reeves, Nampa Christian: Racked up nine points, 19 rebounds, six steals and two blocks in the Trojans’ 42-23 win against Liberty Charter.

Katy Wentz, Garden Valley: Tallied 30 points, 12 rebounds, eight steals and four assists in the Wolverines’ 72-27 win at Riverstone.

Payton Hymas, Middleton: Had 17 points and eight steals in the Vikings’ 53-17 win over Caldwell.

Jayden McNeal, Borah: Poured in 29 points to lead the Lions to a 58-51, road win at Centennial.

BOYS WRESTLING

Jason Mara, Meridian: Went 7-0 to lead Meridian to the gold bracket title at the Donnelly Duals. That included a 3-1 decision over three-time 2A state champion Kyle Rice.

Draven Johns, Caldwell: The freshman went 8-0 last week, winning via a pin in seven of those eight matches.

Joel Campbell, New Plymouth: Went 7-0 at the Donnelly Duals with five first-round pins and two major decisions.

Tyler Jones, Rocky Mountain: Posted a 9-0 record last week, including a 7-0 performance at the Donnelly Duals with two wins over state champions.

Simon Graeber, Columbia: Won the 126-pound title at the Sidney (Montana) Eagle Invite with a pin 3:51 into the championship.

Andrew Alvarez, McCall-Donnelly: Pinned his way to the heavyweight title at the Dick Griswold Invite in Potlatch.

David Grigorkiv, Owyhee: The 182-pounder went 6-0 at the Donnelly Duals with five pins and a major victory.

Joe Watson, Centennial: Went 6-0 at the Donnelly Duals at 170 pounds with five pins.

Brody Kemble, Middleton: The 126-pounder was 7-0 at the Donnelly Duals with six pins and a forfeit.

Dedrick Navrro, Nampa: Posted a 7-0 record between 106 and 113 pounds at the Donnelly Duals with five wins and two technical falls.

Brady Armstrong, Ridgevue: Went 6-0 at 126 pounds at the Donnelly Duals with five pins and a major decision.

Jamison Hunt, Capital: Pinned seven opponents to go undefeated at the Donnelly Duals at 138 pounds.

Carlos Valdez, Bishop Kelly: Went 6-0 at the Donnelly Duals, pinning all five opponents he faced.

GIRLS WRESTLING

Gianna Coburn, Emmett: Won the 130-pound division at the Ardis E. Nash Memorial Tournament.

Mia Furman, Rocky Mountain: Pinned her way to the 136-pound title at the Ardis E. Nash Memorial Tournament.

Marissa Jimenez, Caldwell: Won the 143-pound bracket at the Ardis E. Nash Memorial Tournament with a 50-second pin in the finals.

Maria Sifuentes, Columbia: Pinned every opponent she faced to finish first at 155 pounds at the Ardis E. Nash Memorial Tournament.

Reece Woods, Eagle: Pinned her way to the 191-pound title at the Ardis E. Nash Memorial Tournament. She won the title match in just 36 seconds.
