Brayden Adcox, Sumner baseball — Went 2-for-2 and drove in the tying run in the seventh inning, forcing extra innings in Sumner’s nine-inning 8-4 win over Richland.

Cassandra Atkins, Federal Way track and field — Won 4A West Central District titles in the long jump (18-10 3/4) and triple jump (40-2 1/4), and continues to lead the state in both events this spring. Also ran a leg of the Eagles’ winning 4x100 relay (season-best 48.41, which leads the state this spring).

Ignacio Brandan, Tahoma soccer — Scored two goals in 4-1 win over Bellarmine Prep in 4A state tournament quarterfinals.

Jacob Bresnahan, Sumner baseball — Pitched an eight-inning complete game, allowing one unearned run on four hits and striking out seven in 2-1 win over West Valley in opening round of 4A state tournament.

Griffin Bye, Tahoma baseball — Hit a bases-clearing double in the fifth inning of Tahoma’s 5-0 win over Olympia in 4A state tournament quarterfinals.

Bella Carazo, Bonney Lake softball — Tossed 21 total innings in three complete games in wins over Gig Harbor and Heritage and a loss to Rogers. Allowed one run against Gig Harbor and shut out Heritage in the 3A West Central/Southwest district semifinals. Struck out 30 batters during the three appearances.

Malia Coit, Peninsula softball — Hit 9-for-13 with eight runs scored, two doubles, five home runs — including two each in the semifinals and championship game — eight RBI and a stolen base in wins over River Ridge, Evergreen of Vancouver, Yelm and Bonney Lake during the Seahawks’ run to the 3A West Central/Southwest district title.

Cruize Corvin, Lakes track and field — Won 3A West Central District titles in the 1,600 (personal-best 4:12.62, which ranks fourth in the state this spring) and 3,200 (9:10.11).

Julia Couch, Auburn Riverside track and field — Won 3A West Central District titles in the 400 (personal-best 58.6), 800 (personal-best 2:12.03, which ranks fifth in the state this spring) and 1,600 (personal-best 4:55.43, which ranks fourth in the state this spring).

Alexis Crux-Hernandez, Puyallup soccer — Came up with three big saves in a penalty kick shootout win against top-seeded Newport in 4A state tournament quarterfinals, sending the Vikings through to the semifinals.

Brett Ellingson, Puyallup baseball — Tossed a complete game shutout in 4-0 win over Jackson in the 4A state tournament quarterfinals, allowing three hits in seven scoreless frames, striking out four in the win.

Jonathan Frazier, Lincoln track and field — Won 3A West Central District titles in the 110 hurdles (14.43) and 300 hurdles (personal-best 39.14, which ranks fifth in the state this spring).

JaiCieonna Gero-Holt, Emerald Ridge track and field — Won 4A West Central District titles in the 100 hurdles (14.8), javelin (127-8) and high jump (5-10), and placed second in the long jump (personal-best 18-9 3/4, which ranks second in the state this spring). Continues to lead the state in the 110 hurdles, javelin and high jump this spring.

Alissa Hermansen, Bonney Lake softball — Tossed 18 total innings in three complete games in wins over Decatur and Lakes and a loss to Peninsula during the Panthers’ run to the 3A West Central/Southwest district title game. Allowed four runs in the three outings while striking out 22 batters. Also collected five hits, including a home run and seven RBI in wins over Decatur and Lakes and a loss to Rogers.

Conrad Henkel, Tahoma baseball — Hit a three-run home run and had four RBI in 10-0 win over Skyline in 4A state tournament opening round.

Adam Jay, Tahoma baseball — Pitched a complete-game shutout in 5-0 win over Olympia in 4A state tournament quarterfinals, allowing just two hits and striking out nine Bears’ batters.

Jaylon Jenkins, Federal Way track and field — Won 4A West Central District titles in the high jump (personal-best 6-10, which leads the state this spring) and triple jump (47-0 1/2).

Alli Kimball, Peninsula softball — Tossed 22 total innings in four appearances — including three complete games — in wins over River Ridge, Evergreen of Vancouver, Yelm and Bonney Lake to lead the Seahawks to the 3A West Central/Southwest district title. Allowed two earned runs and struck out 38 during that stretch, including shutting out the Panthers in the district championship game. Also hit 8-for-12 with four runs scored, a double, home run and four RBI in the four wins.

Raygun Klippert, Rogers softball — Hit 13-for-21 with 11 runs scored, a double, two home runs, three RBI and three stolen bases in wins over Bonney Lake, Battle Ground, Kentwood and Skyview and a loss to Puyallup. The Rams placed third in the 4A West Central/Southwest district tournament.

Jacob Lane, Emerald Ridge track and field — Won a 4A West Central District title in the shot put (personal-best 55-7 1/4, which ranks fourth in the state this spring).

Brooke Lyons, Tahoma track and field — Won 4A West Central District titles in the 100 (12.16), 200 (personal-best 24.71, which ranks third in the state this spring) and 400 (personal-best 55.01, which leads the state this spring). Also continues to lead the state with the top time in the 100 this spring.

Hana Moll, Capital track and field — Won a 3A West Central District title in the pole vault (14-6), and continues to lead the state in the event this spring. Also ran legs of the Cougars’ winning 4x100 relay (season-best 48.54, which ranks third in the state this spring) and winning 4x200 relay (1:44.22).

Athena and Sienna Moore, Capital tennis — Twins won four straight matches to claim the 3A bidistrict doubles tennis championship, continuing an undefeated season.

Keagan Norfleet, Rogers softball — Tossed 27 total innings in five appearances — including three complete games — in wins over Bonney Lake, Battle Ground, Kentwood and Skyview and a loss to Puyallup, allowing five earned runs while striking out 21 batters. Also hit 10-for-19 with four runs scored, four doubles, six RBI and a stolen base. The Rams placed third in the 4A West Central/Southwest district tournament.

Alex Overbay, Tumwater baseball — Pitched a five-inning shutout in 11-0 win over Archbishop Murphy in 2A state tournament quarterfinal round, allowing just one hit. Also went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a walk.

Mason Pike, Puyallup baseball — Hit a two-run double, an RBI single and earned the save in 6-5 win over Hanford in 4A state tournament opening round.

Brayden Platt, Yelm track and field — Won a 3A West Central District title in the shot put (personal-best 63-11 3/4, which leads the state this spring).

Ava Puttler, Emerald Ridge softball — Hit 6-for-15 with four runs scored, a double, three home runs and nine RBI in wins over Curtis, Tahoma and Skyview and a loss to Puyallup during the Jaguars’ run to the 4A West Central/Southwest district title game. Also tossed 4 1/3 innings in the win over Curtis, allowing one run while striking out two.

Damien Rodriguez, North Thurston soccer — Scored a goal in Rams’ 4-1 loss to top-seeded Lincoln of Seattle in 3A state tournament uaterfinals.

Roderick Schenk, Central Kitsap track and field — Won a 3A West Central District title in the javelin (personal-best 203-11, which leads the state this spring).

Andrew Shirley, Curtis track and field — Won a 4A West Central District title in the pole vault (personal-best 16-0, which leads the state this spring).

Kyra Smith, Puyallup softball — Hit 9-for-13 with eight runs scored, two doubles, three home runs, four RBI and a stolen base in wins over Kentridge, Olympia, Rogers and Emerald Ridge during the Vikings’ run to the 4A West Central/Southwest district title.

Trevontay Smith, Yelm track and field — Won 3A West Central District titles in the long jump (personal-best 22-7 1/2, which ranks ninth in the state this spring) and triple jump (personal-best 49-8, which leads the state this spring).

Taryn Takayoshi, Puyallup softball — Hit 8-for-16 with a run scored, four doubles and seven RBI in wins over Kentridge, Olympia, Rogers and Emerald Ridge during the Vikings’ run to the 4A West Central/Southwest district title.

Latham West, Gig Harbor track and field — Won a 3A West Central District title in the 3,200 (personal-best 10:39.1, which ranks seventh in the state this spring) and placed second in the 1,600 (personal-best 4:58.16, which ranks eighth in the state this spring).

Dean Williams, Puyallup soccer — Scored the equalizing goal in the 69th minute, forcing overtime in Puyallup’s eventual shootout win over top-seeded Newport in 4A state tournament quarterfinals, sending the Vikings through to the semifinals.

Cooper Wilson, Bonney Lake track and field — Won 3A West Central District titles in the 100 (10.99), 200 (21.9) and 400 (49.55).

Alanna Wirtala, Emerald Ridge softball — Tossed 23 total innings in three complete games in wins over Tahoma and Skyview and an extra-innings loss to Puyallup during the Jaguars’ run to the 4A West Central/Southwest district title game. Struck out 33 batters during that stretch. Also hit 6-for-11 with five runs scored, four RBI and a stolen base during wins over Curtis, Tahoma and Skyview and the loss to Puyallup.
