The Voice UK's blind auditions continued this evening and the coaches listened to more performances in the hopes of building up their teams.

One contestant that caught their attention was 30-year-old Sweeney, a dancer and fitness instructor from South East London.

Sweeney wowed the coaches as he sung Bad Blood by Nao. One coach who was left particularly surprised was Anne-Marie as she realised that Sweeney was one of her former back-up dancers.

Sweeney said that his dancing has taken him around the world and that he's managed to dance with some big names - in addition to dancing for Anne-Marie, Sweeney has also danced with the Pussycat Dolls, Cheryl and Take That.

Speaking about why he's come on the show, Sweeney said: "I've come to The Voice because I think it's about time I actually did the thing I love doing.

"Even when I was dancing, I've always looked at the singer and been like 'Oh I fancy being that guy' rather than being one of the eight behind them. Not that that's a bad thing like I've had the best time but this is my time to give singing a shot."

During his performance, Anne-Marie, Tom Jones and Olly Murs turned around. However, Olly got blocked and was unable to pitch for Sweeney to join his team.

Anne-Marie asked if she knew Sweeney from somewhere as he looked familiar to her.

"I danced for Anne-Marie a few times, yeah, she was actually like my favourite person to dance for," Sweeney said.

During her pitch for Sweeney, Anne-Marie said: "As soon I turned round and saw your face I was just like 'yes', I mean obviously I want you on my team. I feel like we already know each other, we can work with each other again, that would be great, if you came with me."

Sweeney decided to join Anne-Marie's team as he said that it would complete his journey nicely.

The Voice UK continues on Saturday at 8:30pm on ITV.
