Video: Teen rescued from Cosumnes River in Sacramento County

Crews on Monday rescued a teen from the fast-moving waters of the Cosumnes River in Sacramento County. Video from LiveCopter 3 showed the person holding onto a tree for several minutes before a rescue crew swam over to him. Rescue crews held onto the person using a line before he was pulled from the water. This rescue happened in the 15000 block of Jackson Road near the Big Yellow Bridge. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said the rescue was reported at 4:29 p.m., and the teen was out of the water by 5:32 p.m. More here:
