Veteran Batman Actor Criticises Batman V Superman, Praises Ben Affleck

It seems like every time you turn around Warner Bros. and the DC Extended Universe is getting a fresh new kicking from someone.

This time around Kevin Conroy, who has been the voice of Bruce Wayne for almost 25 years having done so in ‘Batman: The Animated Series’, ‘Batman: Arkham’ video games, and, now, in the upcoming animated film ‘Batman: The Killing Joke’, has admitted that he wasn’t too fond of ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.’

Speaking to IGN, Conroy specifically admitted that he wasn’t happy with the fact that Batman killed so many people in Zack Snyder’s blockbuster.

“In the most recent live action movie, that seems to have been a line that was crossed and it’s not one I’m particularly comfortable with.”

However, after admitting that he finds it “really interesting to see different actors in the role, to see what they bring to the character,” Conroy admitted that he likes “what Ben Affleck is doing with it now.”

Conroy’s comments regarding ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ come just a few days after ‘Suicide Squad’ was the latest DCEU film to be met with a mediocre response critically.

But the fact it has already pushed the franchise over $1.9 billion in just three films means that there’s still plenty of hope and interest in where the series goes, which will continue with ‘Wonder Woman’ and ‘Justice League’ in 2017.
