What are the three issues that you see as most important to your district and what will you do to address them?

Access to health care, funding for our public schools, and reforms to address the current housing crisis. I will continue to work with my colleagues on policy and funding solutions that will address these issues.

At a time when costs are rising, state government has a surplus. How should it be used?

Increased funding for our public school system and support for our health care system including more robust state funding for behavioral health.

Will you vote for Medicaid expansion in North Carolina?

Yes.

What has the legislature gotten right, and what has it gotten wrong, about public education in North Carolina?

The teacher pay increase in our most recent state budget was a good start. The legislature must invest more in every aspect of public education in North Carolina.

There should be no restrictions on abortion.
