Milo Ventimiglia
It looks like Milo Ventimiglia is going back to his old roots ... sort of. After making a brief appearance as the "Handsome Man" on season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, TVLine announced in May that the actor is set to return but in a "more extensive" way than viewers initially met him.
And that's not all — Milo's about to make a return to network television as the star and executive producer of ABC's The Company You Keep. According to Deadline, the show follows con man Charlie (Milo) as he works on getting out of the family business. Along the way, he falls for an undercover CIA officer set to take down the person holding Charlie's family's debts. Sounds pretty juicy, if you ask us ...

Mandy Moore
Following in her This Is Us character's roots, Mandy Moore is planning on taking a step back from TV to focus on her singing career. Her latest album, In Real Life, just dropped in May 2022, and she's about to take her music on the road this summer.
Aside from making music, Mandy also wants to take some time and focus on one special person — her son Gus, whom she welcomed with husband Taylor Goldsmith in February 2021. "I was pregnant with Gus all throughout the fifth season and then I went back to work when he was a month old," she told Entertainment Tonight in May 2022. "So, I’m excited to be a mom for a minute, then figure out what I wanna do after that.”

Sterling K. Brown
From NBC to Hulu. In October 2021, Deadline revealed that Sterling K. Brown would be starring in the upcoming series Washington Black, based on Esi Edugyan's 2018 novel of the same name.
While the show follows a young boy needing to flee a Barbados sugar plantation, Sterling will play Medwin Harris, a "larger than life" Black refugee who is the unofficial mayor of Halifax and wants nothing to do with the child. Quite a turn from his current role ...

Chrissy Metz
It doesn't look like Chrissy Metz is done making us break down in tears just yet. After six years of playing Kate Pearson, her next role comes in the form of a new movie called Stay Awake.
In the film (which recently opened at the Berlin and San Francisco film festivals), Chrissy portrays a single mom who works with her family to try and battle her prescription drug addiction. "It looks at the American prescription drug epidemic through a lens we rarely see — the effect that addicts have on their children," she wrote on Instagram about the project.

Justin Hartley
Never one to leave his love of acting, Justin Hartley has a few projects in the works. While his new film Senior Year (starring Rebel Wilson) just premiered on Netflix, Deadline previously announced in September 2021 that he would be teaming up with This Is Us producer Ken Olin for CBS' The Never Game.
Based on Jeffrey Deaver's novel of the same name, the show will follow a pseudo-bounty hunter as he treks cross-country (in an RV, no less!) to help police and civilians solve crimes and missing person cases. But when one case becomes a cat-and-mouse chase, it stops being all business and instead personal.

Susan Kelechi Watson
Although Susan Kelechi Watson hasn't explicitly said anything in regards to her next steps after This Is Us ends, it doesn't mean she's not continuing with her acting career. In fact, her most recent role was voicing the role of Maggie Coyle in the 2021 animated film Rumble, out now on Paramount+.

Chris Sullivan
From drama to comedy! In March 2022, Deadline reported that Chris would be leading the ABC comedy The Son in Law. In the show, he will portray Jake, a divorced father who thought love was not in the cards for him. When he falls for a sophisticated woman, he learns the real stumbling block is not learning how to love again — it's impressing her super rich parents.
Apart from the acting, it may be time for Chris to hit up his This Is Us character for dad tips on how to be a father of two! Just two years after the birth of son Beau Maxwell with wife Rachel Sullivan, the couple is set to welcome a baby girl in November.

Jon Huertas
Though there isn't any info just yet on Jon Huertas' next acting role, he did team up with the This Is Us cast and creator Dan Fogelman to create the Somos Nosotros Fund ("This Is Us" in Spanish). The Latinx-focused scholarship fund will help booster the meaning of inclusion for other creatives.
The news of the Somos Nosotros Fund also came after the This Is Us cast offered to give a portion of their final season bonuses to Jon when it was discovered he had received less than his costars, an offer that he declined.

So far, there isn't any news out about Caitlin Thompson's next move in acting. But with a husband like This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman, we're sure there's something in the works for her.
In the meantime, Caitlin looks to be enjoying life with her husband and her son, who was born in 2020.

Chris Geere
Though This Is Us fans only met Chris Geere at the end of season 5, he's since become part of the Pearson family just as the series is ending. But that doesn't mean this is Chris' only body of acting work. Viewers can also see him in season 1 of HBO Max's Hacks, and he is set to voice the role of Klaus in Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, out July 2022.

Alexandra Breckenridge
Though Alexandra Breckenridge wasn't necessarily seen throughout the entirety of This Is Us, she had a good reason for her absence. She's been busy portraying nurse Melinda "Mel" Monroe since December 2019 on the hit Netflix series Virgin River. If you're wondering when you can stream the latest season, you won't have to wait that long. The show is set to return for its fourth season on July 20, 2022.
