Yahoo Movies UK weekend weather: Flood warning issued in Norfolk as most of UK dry
Some 22 flood alerts are in place across the country, particularly in the North East, South East and South West as well as a flood warning for the River Burn in Norfolk
(EPA)The Environment Agency has issued a flood warning for parts of Norfolk, but most of the UK is forecasted to be dry and sunny with cold and frosty nights this weekend.
The alert has been issued for the River Burn from South Creake to Burnham Thorpe as some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas is likely on Friday and Saturday. Areas most at risk are North Creake, South Creake and Burnham Thorpe including the B1355.
There are no severe weather warnings over the weekend with most of the UK set for mostly dry with some sunny spells on Friday and Saturday, though the weather will remind chilly at around 6 to 7 degrees celsius.
Scotland and the South East will get the best of the sunshine and light showers are possible in the east on Friday and in the far northwest on Saturday.
The northwest will see patchy rain on Sunday but the rest of the country is forecasted to be fine and dry.
The Met Office has forecast cold and frosty mornings and evenings over the weekend, with outbreaks of rain and snow flurries over some hills expected in the far north.
