UK Pastor Appeals to Public After Bike Used by Late Sons Is Stolen

Sussex Police asked the public to help search for a pastor’s stolen bike that had “huge sentimental value” because it was used by his sons before they died. Police said the bike was taken in Worthing, England, on Tuesday, July 19.

Reverend David Hill explained to police that it was “the last bike my grown-up children rode” before they tragically died in a helicopter crash in the Grand Canyon in 2018 according to news reports.

Police said the bike was stolen from outside Worthing Hospital, where Hill works as the hospital chaplain.

The pastor said, "The bike itself is worth around £2,000 but the emotional value is absolutely priceless. I am devastated it has been stolen.”
