UFC 282 ‘Embedded,’ No. 1: Paddy Pimblett draws a crowd in Las Vegas

In the first episode of “Embedded” ahead of UFC 282 in Las Vegas, co-main event lightweight Paddy Pimblett arrives in “Sin City.”

The UFC is back with its final pay-per-view of the year, which means the popular “Embedded” fight-week video series is here to document what’s happening behind the scenes.

UFC 282 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and early prelims on ESPN+.

The main event is a vacant light heavyweight title fight between former champion Jan Blachowicz (29-9 MMA, 12-6 UFC) and Magomed Ankalaev (18-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC). They’ll fight for the belt vacated by Jiri Prochazka, who bowed out of a rematch with Glover Teixeira with a severe shoulder injury.

The co-main event is a lightweight fight between rising star Paddy Pimblett (19-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and Jared Gordon (19-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC). In addition, former welterweight champ Robbie Lawler (29-16 MMA, 14-10 UFC) takes on Santiago Ponzinibbio (28-6 MMA, 10-5 UFC) and Dricus Du Plessis (17-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) meets Darren Till (18-4 MMA, 6-4-1 UFC) at middleweight.

The first episode of “Embedded” follows the featured fighters while they get ready for fight week. Here is the UFC’s description of the episode from YouTube:

Paddy Pimblett acclimates ASAP in Vegas. Jan Blachowicz faces a foe on a wintry hike. Magomed Ankalaev watches a teammate win. Jared Gordon makes the most of an opportunity.
