UC Davis program now accepting applications for students with intellectual disabilities

UC Davis is now accepting applications for a new college program serving students with diagnosed intellectual disabilities or has neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome or a traumatic brain injury. The MIND Institute and UC Davis Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are running the Redwood Supported Education to Elevate Diversity (SEED) program, which will be made up of 12 students between the ages of 18 to 23. Scholars will be living on campus, taking college classes, and even pursuing internships and jobs. See more in the video above.
