Twin Rivers Unified announces in-person reopening plan

The Twin Rivers Unified School District announced plans this week to reopen classrooms for in-person learning, a decision impacting thousands of students in Sacramento County. "[Teachers] have worked very hard to provide a strong academic program for their students, virtually," said Rebecca LeDoux, President of Twin Rivers Unified Educators. "It's exciting we’ll be able to welcome them back in person on campus." Teachers and students have been dealing with distance learning for over a year, a reality soon set to change after months of negotiation between the district and the union. In-person classes will resume on April 6th for all elementary school students. See more in the video above.
