United Parcel Service expects its newly won U.S. Postal Service (USPS) air cargo contract to be profitable in its first year and throughout the more than five-year deal, after rival FedEx struggled with the business, Chief Executive Carol Tome said on Tuesday. Motorists have been stuck in queues coming into London from Essex on the A13 East India Dock road following emergency repairs. Two lanes were closed on the key route earlier on Tuesday, causing traffic to back up around eight miles, from the Canning Town flyover to Rainham.
