Tracee Ellis Ross Demonstrates How to Actually Wear a Bikini

When there were no restaurants to go to, Tracee Ellis Ross showed everyone how to dress up to go to their kitchen. Now that it's summer and there are no pool parties to attend, Ross is showing us all how to dress up for, well, the non-pool-party.

On Instagram, Ross uploaded a hot photo of herself with the caption: "Pool party! Except I don’t have a pool. And I’m too scared to have a party." Relatable! A majority of us right now are scared non-pool owners. But apparently that doesn't mean we can't wear our black string bikinis with a pair of Jordans. Ross also suggests playing “Summertime” by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince and taking a bikini selfie to pass the time instead.

There is no doubt it's a good look. The entire comments section is filled with shook celebrities and multiple fire emojis. But what Ross flawlessly demonstrates isn't just that she's hot but also that in 2020, wearing a bikini doesn't have to mean what it used to mean.

Instead of taking your bikini on far-flung vacations or huge outings to the beach, you can just take it to your picnic table or stoop. If anything, now is the time to wear a paradoxical bikini outfit because why not? Who says you can't wear your favorite sneakers with a bikini? Clearly, not Tracee Ellis Ross.
