The Catbackers Tour rolled into Kansas City, bringing Kansas State coaches and athletes into a pep rally-like setting at Children’s Mercy Park. New men’s basketball coach Jerome Tang, assistant head football coach Van Malone and women’s basketball coach Jeff Mittie were the headliners.

Beat writer Kellis Robinett opens the show with his take on what’s happening in Kansas State athletics and a lookahead to next year’s football and basketball seasons.
