TOTEME Prepares for a Sensual and Sensitive SS23

TOTEME is taking a softer approach to Spring/Summer 2023 as the Scandinavian brand's latest collection puts on emphasis on dressing for the senses.

The SS23 offering is overflowing with romantic silhouettes, focusing on dressing for the senses. Partnering with photographer Steven Meisel for a third time, the new campaign features legendary French and Australian models Jeanne Cadieu and Julia Nobis, capturing the presentation's feminine aesthetic. "There is a traction between the controlled and the free-spirited throughout this collection. With his eye for the perfect composition, Meisel’s portraits reflect that," co-founder Elin Kling shares in an exclusive press release.

Little black dresses are made more intriguing with the addition of sultry tailoring as obsidian frocks boast collarbone-baring necklines. High-neck floral gowns join their cap-sleeved counterparts, while crotchet sleeves open up otherwise demure shifts. Elsewhere, expertly tailored trench coats substitute their usual utilitarian approach as hemlines effortlessly float above ground. Accessories arrive in the form of slightly slouchy envelope handbags, continuing the collection's air of elegance.
