The referee’s inside TD Garden were not the only officials subject to criticism from Leafs faithful during the Maple Leafs’ 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins in Game 5.

Back at Maple Leafs Square, a pair of gentlemen arrived dressed as NHL referees. The two guys did not stop there, however. The pair of stripe-clad lads showed that they were also the ones making the calls on Saturday night.

Despite the six power plays allotted to the Boston Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs walked out victorious, and these officials were able to walk out with their whistles – not without taking some ribbing from the other fans, though.

These two took it in stride, but they might have had a tougher time with Maple Leaf fans had they lost due to a late penalty.
