Tom Hanks Finds Student's ID, Gets On Twitter To Return It

When Tom Hanks finds someone’s ID in the street, he doesn’t just throw a bundle of lighted $100 bills at it and then laugh in a tramp’s face.

Nope. He picks it up and does his best to try and find said ID’s owner.

Yesterday, he found the student card of a young lady named Lauren, currently studying at Fordham University in New York.

So he snapped a picture of it, and tweeted it to his substantial base of 10.4 million followers.

His appeal has at the time of publishing been re-tweeted over 7000 times, so one would have thought that soon enough it will find its way home.

“Lauren!” he wrote.

“I found your Student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get to you. Hanx.”

We didn’t need too much additional evidence to know that Tom Hanks is among the world’s nicest actors, but here we are.

And it’s all karmic payback too.
