Officers responded to a call about a man with a gun at about 7:30 p.m. when all three were shot, the Memphis Police Department said on Twitter. Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy has asked the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to conduct a probe into the shooting.

French car parts maker Faurecia opened a $147 million plant in Mexico to make car seats and interiors, the company said on Thursday, the latest in a string of auto sector investments driving the country's so-called "nearshoring" boom.
