TikTok is rinsing Brooklyn Beckham for saying being a chef helped pay for £1m car

For the second time this week, Brooklyn Beckham has gone viral on TikTok, after saying he was a "chef" when someone asked what he did for a living.

The 23-year-old first made headlines on the red carpet after fans couldn't help but notice how his accent flitted between Cockney geezer and someone from LA. People were particularly enamoured with the way he said "sauce".

Now, a video of Brooklyn has gone viral again, this time after he was stopped by a TikToker who was impressed by his incredibly expensive car. @Itsdanielmac shouted through the passenger window, "Hey man, what do you do for a living? Your car’s awesome."

Brooklyn then responded, "Oh my god, I know you" before adding, "I’m a chef."

Marc, who estimated the car to be worth around $1.2million (roughly £992k), then asked: "Are you like the best chef in the world?" to which Brooklyn replied, "Trying to be."

While Brooklyn's cooking videos have gained some traction in the past (though not always for the right reasons), some people in the comments were questioning whether it was cheffing that had actually helped him afford the £1 million car.

You know, instead of the fact his dad is David Beckham, one of the most famous footballers in the world with an estimated net worth of £375 million. As one person put it, "Not him pretending being a chef got him that car….. Brooklyn, please." Someone else said, "chef, The guy has never worked a shift in a restaurant in his life. 😂😂"

Others were more supportive of the 23-year-old, writing, "He seems really sweet. It’s not his fault he was born rich. Too many haters in the comments." Another added, "Dude is a legend for being so humble. Never mentioned who his dad was."

Someone else summed up, "It's a shame as he's obviously trying to not be in his father's shadow but the truth is that he doesn't have that car by being a chef. 😂"

Keep doing you, Brooklyn!
